This category is applicable to all buildings, regardless of their new function, which have been restored to life in 2014 or 2015.
An assessment of the quality of the construction, how the historic character of the building has been retained, its new functions and its integration with the surrounding area. This is partly an ideological award for contributions towards restoring derelict buildings to their original glory. We appreciate investors’ efforts in revitalising buildings rather than opting for the easier way, i.e. the demolition of an old building to build something new on the site.
The award is presented to the relevant architect/architectural studio and investor.

The evaluation will assess the manner of the management of space, how spatial coherence has been achieved, how its social functions have been realised, how the quality of life of local residents and users has been improved, how it meets environmental protection requirements, and how the project has improved the attractiveness and image of the area in the eyes of its users.
